About

Trades 7–10yr Treasuries with a 100‑day trend filter and a 2‑day overbought/oversold gauge. Mostly long TYD, flips to TYO on extremes; when bonds weaken, shifts to a low‑vol mix of SPY and GLD. Rebalanced daily.
NutHow it works
1) Identify regime: if TYD (a 3x “up” fund for 7–10yr Treasuries) is above its 100‑day average, it’s an uptrend; otherwise a downtrend. 2) Use a 2‑day “heat” gauge (RSI): <20 = washed out, >90 = overbought. Uptrend: usually hold TYD; switch briefly to TYO (the 3x “down” fund) only when RSI>90. Downtrend: hold TYD only on quick dips (RSI<20); otherwise park in SPY (US stocks) and GLD (gold), favoring the calmer one. Rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample tested: diversifies and defends with max drawdown 11.37% vs SPY 18.76%, near-zero beta, Calmar ~0.54. Lower risk with steady risk-adjusted returns than the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
