About

A daily, rules-based rotation that reads global credit vs U.S. Treasuries, low‑vol stocks vs the S&P 500, and value vs growth to set risk and style, then shifts among ETF baskets spanning sectors, commodities, currencies, and some leveraged/inverse funds.
NutHow it works
It turns three dials each day: 1) Long-term: If global (Euro-heavy) corporate bonds trail U.S. Treasuries, it goes defensive; otherwise it takes more risk. 2) Short-term: If low‑vol stocks beat the S&P 500, it tempers risk. 3) Style: If value beats growth, it tilts to commodities/value; otherwise to growth/long‑duration. Then it buys matching ETF baskets (some leveraged/inverse).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy reduces drawdown to 6.97% (SPY 18.76%), with a Calmar of 1.57 and positive alpha, using regime-switching, multi-asset tilts to cushion markets. Offers stronger risk control and diversification versus the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
