About

Aggressive, trend‑driven portfolio that rides 3x Nasdaq when markets are healthy, rotates into sectors or 3x Treasuries when their trends are strong, and uses T‑Bills/staples/gold for defense when conditions weaken.
NutHow it works
Core: chase strength with leverage, step aside when weak. It mostly holds TQQQ (3x Nasdaq‑100). If the S&P 500 is below its 200‑day average, it either parks in BIL (T‑Bills) plus XLP (consumer‑staples) and GLD (gold), or buys TECL (3x tech) on short‑term oversold dips. Four 15% sleeves own XLF, XLK, XLE, XLU only when their short trend beats the medium‑term; else they revert to the core. A 40% sleeve flips between TMF (3x Treasuries) and the core using bond trend/heat.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~56.6% annualized return vs ~19.3% for SPY; Sharpe ~1.14; Calmar ~1.49. Trend-rotation captures upside with disciplined risk controls—stronger risk-adjusted performance than the S&P, despite higher drawdowns in stressed markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
