A cautious stock-and-bond strategy that keeps a small core invested, picks the strongest bond fund, and shifts its active portion between the S&P 500 and bonds based on the market trend.

This strategy mixes a small long-term base with a more flexible “satellite” piece. It always keeps some dividend stocks and real estate, picks 1 bond fund with the strongest recent 3-month return, and checks the broad U.S. stock market trend. If the S&P 500 is above its 200-day average, the satellite holds stocks (SPY). If not, it moves that piece into bonds. It rechecks every quarter.
