About

A momentum-driven, robotics/AI-themed equity portfolio using multi-timeframe top-3 selection to build a diversified, rule-based exposure with a small baseline and no automatic rebalance.
NutHow it works
Plain-language view of how it operates: - Universe: a mix of individual stocks and robotics/AI/defense/commodity ETFs (e.g., TSLA, NVDA, ARKQ, ROBT, BOTZ, SHLD, SHY, REMX, EVMT, TILL, ZSB, OUST, IBOT, ROBO, NOBL, AVUV, BRK/B). - Momentum screen: for each look-back window (12, 23, 35, 50, 70, 100 weeks, etc.), compute a simple performance metric called moving-average return. - Selection within each window: pick the top 3 assets with the strongest momentum for that window. - Aggregation: collect all window-level picks; assets that appear in multiple windows earn a higher standing. - Final build: assign weights across the selected assets so the total equals 100% (there is an initial cash-specified baseline, and then the momentum picks fill in the rest). - Rebalancing: no automatic rebalancing is performed (rebalance mode = none); changes would be based on the rule set when you run the selection routine. - Theme and risk: heavy tilt to robotics/AI/defense and related metal/commodity plays with some ballast through short-duration bonds and dividend equities. The corridor width (0.03) hints at a narrow tolerance for drift if revisiting weights manually, but no automatic rebalancing is coded here.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe 6.18 vs S&P 1.43; annualized return 153.8% vs 16.6%; max drawdown ~2% vs 2.53%; alpha 0.86 with beta 0.89. Momentum robotics/AI theme, rule-based picks, and no automatic rebalancing.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
