A daily market-timing strategy that flips between aggressive growth, defense, and rising-rate hedges based on Nasdaq and Treasury stress signals.

This strategy checks the Nasdaq-100 (QQQ) every day as a market stress gauge. If QQQ looks extremely overheated, it buys UVXY, a fund that tends to rise when market fear jumps. If QQQ looks deeply oversold, it buys whichever looks more washed out: leveraged Nasdaq (TQQQ) or short-term bonds (BSV). If stocks are falling hard, it shifts to defense using managed futures (DBMF) or a bearish Nasdaq fund (SQQQ). If bond volatility is high, it prefers DBMF or TMV, which benefits when long-term Treasury prices fall and interest rates rise. Otherwise it spreads across several bullish 3x funds, with smaller weights in the more volatile ones.

Out-of-sample annualized return ~39% vs SPY 20%; captures larger upside in stress/rising-rate regimes through dynamic hedging and tactical tilts. Diversified, rule-based shifts aim for stronger long-run growth—though drawdowns can be larger than SPY.
