About

A daily, tactical strategy that uses inflation and bond‑vs‑tech strength to decide how aggressively to trade semiconductors with 3x ETFs—buy dips (SOXL), bet against spikes (SOXS), or sit in T‑Bills (BIL). High risk, single‑sector focus.
NutHow it works
Each day: 1) Check if inflation expectations are trending up (RINF above its 200‑day average). 2) If yes, see whether bonds look stronger than big tech (BND vs QQQ, short‑term). 3) Look at semiconductor momentum (SMH). If semis look weak, buy 3x‑long SOXL; if overheated, buy 3x‑short SOXS; otherwise sit in T‑Bills (BIL). Thresholds are stricter in riskier regimes.
CheckmarkValue prop
Delivers ~20.53% annualized returns, on par with the S&P 500, using a regime-driven semiconductors strategy for diversification and upside in tech cycles; but note significant out-of-sample drawdowns (~76%), so suitable for high risk tolerance.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
