About

A daily semiconductor swing strategy using 3x ETFs. It filters by inflation trend (RINF) and bond‑vs‑tech strength (BND vs QQQ), then uses a 0–100 heat gauge (RSI) on SMH to buy dips (SOXL), short spikes (SOXS), or park in T‑Bills (BIL).
NutHow it works
Daily, it picks 1 ETF: SOXL (3x long semis), SOXS (3x short semis), or BIL (T‑Bills). It first checks inflation via RINF’s 200‑day trend. If inflation is rising, it also checks whether bonds (BND) are stronger than big tech (QQQ). Then it looks at SMH’s RSI—a 0–100 “speed-of-move” score. Very hot → short (SOXS). Very cold → long (SOXL). In‑between → BIL. When bonds beat tech, it reacts to milder moves; otherwise it waits for extremes.
CheckmarkValue prop
Similar upside to the S&P (about 20.5% annualized in OOS) with a macro regime filter and semis tilt that adds diversification. Note OOS drawdowns can be large (~76%), so best as a tactical satellite rather than core exposure.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
