About

Inflation‑aware, rules‑based system that toggles among leveraged Nasdaq, Treasury trades (long or short), or cash. Uses moving averages and RSI to decide when to take risk or sit in safer bond/cash ETFs. Rebalanced daily.
NutHow it works
Daily check RINF (an inflation‑expectations ETF) vs its 200‑day average. If rising, compare short‑term momentum (RSI = a speedometer of recent gains vs losses) of bonds (BND) vs Nasdaq (QQQ): if bonds look stronger, buy TQQQ (3× Nasdaq); otherwise hold BIL (T‑Bills). If RINF isn’t rising, a bond sleeve uses trends/RSI to flip among TMV (3× short long‑Treasuries), TMF (3× long long‑Treasuries), TLT (long Treasuries), or SHV/BND (cash‑like/safer bonds).
CheckmarkValue prop
Inflation‑aware, rules‑based strategy with superior risk‑adjusted performance vs the S&P: oos Sharpe ~1.32 vs 1.22, oos return ~61% vs 21%, Calmar ~1.48. Higher upside from Nasdaq leverage, but larger drawdowns (~41%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
