About

Inflation filter on, tactical mode: rotate among volatility (VIXY), gold (GLD), leveraged tech/financials, or a quality stock basket using simple hot/cold (RSI) tests. Filter off, run a Nasdaq trend model—long when up, inverse hedge when down.
NutHow it works
1) Master switch: if RINF (inflation‑expectations ETF) is above its 200‑day average, turn on the tactical playbook. 2) In that mode, simple “hot/cold” (RSI) checks on QQQ/SPY choose VIXY (volatility), GLD (gold), TECL (3× tech), FAS (3× financials), or—if no extremes—either TQQQ (3× Nasdaq) or a steadier stock basket (LLY, NVO, COST + PGR/GE). 3) If RINF isn’t in an uptrend, follow Nasdaq’s trend: own TQQQ/QLD/QQQ when up; otherwise hold an inverse ETF (PSQ/SH/DOG/RWM/TBF). Daily rebalance.
CheckmarkValue prop
Regime-aware, inflation-driven strategy: ~31.8% OOS annualized return vs S&P 20.3%, Calmar ~0.79. Accept ~40% max drawdown for potentially higher upside via cross-asset tilts (volatility, gold, leveraged longs, quality stocks).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
