This strategy splits money into two big halves. One half tries to own the strongest stock areas when the market looks healthy, especially sectors like energy, utilities, health care, financials, or growth-heavy tech. If conditions weaken, it shifts toward safer holdings like cash, gold, Treasury bonds, or managed-futures funds such as DBMF. The other half is simpler: it spreads money across the S&P 500, cash, and gold, but only keeps extra stock exposure when the S&P 500 is trading above its recent trend line. If not, it leans on managed-futures funds like KMLM or DBMF instead.
