About

A daily, rules-based portfolio split into two halves that rotate among turbo tech, S&P 500, Treasuries, inverse ETFs, or cash using long-term trend filters and a short-term hot/cold gauge (RSI) to ride strength and stand aside when markets overheat.
NutHow it works
Your money is split 50/50 into two rule-based halves and checked daily. Tools: RSI = a 0–100 hot/cold meter (over 70 = overheated, under 30 = washed‑out). Moving average = average price over X days to judge trend. Half 1 follows stocks (SPY’s 200‑day): in uptrends it rides turbo tech (TQQQ); if overheated it parks in cash (BIL). In downtrends it may buy or short tech (TECL/SQQQ) or pivot to Treasuries (TLT). Half 2 follows bonds (TLT’s 200‑day): it flips among long/short Treasuries (TMF/TMV) and stock funds (TQQQ/IVV/UPRO/SPXL) based on hot/cold and trend.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample upside: ~26.8% annual return vs S&P 18.3%, achieved through two rule-based sleeves that ride tech strength and hedge with Treasuries/cash. Calmar ~0.74 with positive alpha—diversified, dynamic exposure.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
