About

A daily, all‑in switching strategy that uses long‑ and short‑term trend gauges to rotate among leveraged tech/market funds (TQQQ, TECL, SPXL/UPRO), inverse tech (SQQQ), Treasuries (TLT), or volatility (UVXY). Very high risk and volatility.
NutHow it works
Each day it holds one fund. First: is SPY above its 200‑day average? If yes and things look very “hot” short‑term, it moves to UVXY; otherwise it holds SPY or TQQQ. If no, it may “buy the dip” with TECL/UPRO, or, if weakness persists, switch to SQQQ (short tech) or TLT (Treasuries), whichever looks stronger. RSI is a 0–100 gauge of recent gains vs losses; moving averages smooth price. Tickers: SPY=S&P 500; TQQQ=3x Nasdaq‑100; SPXL/UPRO=3x S&P; TECL=3x Tech; SQQQ=3x inverse Nasdaq‑100; TLT=Treasuries; UVXY=VIX futures.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~67% vs SPY ~17.7%, higher risk-adjusted Sharpe (~1.10 vs ~1.01) and Calmar (~1.34). Tech-led upside; note larger drawdowns in downturns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
