About

Daily, it checks if the S&P 500 is in an uptrend. In uptrends it stays mostly in cash with some Nasdaq, and switches to volatility when things look overheated. In downtrends it flips between leveraged bull/bear tech funds with cash. High risk.
NutHow it works
Each day it asks: Is the S&P 500 above its 200‑day average (long‑term trend)? If yes, hold mostly cash-like Treasuries (SHV) with a small slice of Nasdaq (QQQ/TQQQ); if short‑term “heat” (RSI, a 0–100 gauge) is extreme, shift to volatility (UVXY). If below, use RSI and the 20‑day line to flip between leveraged long tech (TQQQ/TECL/UPRO) and short tech (SQQQ), always buffered by SHV.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~10.37% annual return vs SPY ~1.09%, Sharpe ~1.07 vs ~0.15, Calmar ~5.07, and lower drawdown (~2.04% vs 2.53%). Lower beta with dynamic hedges means higher upside and controlled risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
