About

Daily chip-sector swing trade: usually 100% in SOXL (3× bull). After an unusually big up day in chips (>~2.5% in SOXX), flip to SOXS (3× inverse) to bet on a short-term pullback. Single-sector, highly leveraged, very high risk.
NutHow it works
Each day, it checks how much SOXX (a chip-stock fund) moved yesterday. If SOXX was up more than about +2.5% in a day, it switches to SOXS, which aims for 3× the opposite of chip stocks. Otherwise, it holds SOXL, which aims for 3× their daily rise. 100% in one fund; rebalance daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample chip-tactical strategy: ~49% annualized return vs ~11.8% S&P; Sharpe ~0.91 vs ~0.71. Note: large drawdowns (up to ~83%). Best for risk-tolerant investors seeking levered semiconductor alpha.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
