About

A fast, daily‑rotating strategy that flips between 3x long or 3x short Emerging Markets and pairs it with the most oversold sector or long‑bond play. It uses simple overbought/oversold readings and bond‑vs‑stock gauges to turn risk on or off.
NutHow it works
Daily steps: 1) Read market tone (bonds vs stocks, small vs large, defensive vs cyclical) and EM trend. 2) Go 3x long EM (EDC) when EM looks strong/oversold; go 3x inverse (EDZ) when weak/overbought. 3) Add 1–2 “helper” picks: the most beaten‑down among TMF (3x long bonds), ROM (2x tech), CURE (3x healthcare), DRN (3x real estate), XLF (financials) or bond income funds (VBF/EVN/BKT/PMM). 4) Split roughly 50/50; rebalance daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample Sharpe ~2.29 vs SPY ~0.58; Calmar ~6.14; annualized oos return ~88% vs SPY ~6%; alpha ~0.70; beta ~-0.15. Delivers strong risk-adjusted upside and diversification via leveraged EM and risk-on/off gates.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
