A fast-moving strategy that makes big bullish or bearish bets on emerging markets, then adds bonds or defensive sectors when market warning signs appear.

This strategy mainly bets on emerging-market stocks using very aggressive funds: EDC for “up hard” and EDZ for “down hard.” It watches EEM, a broad emerging-markets fund, plus several bond and defensive-sector funds. If emerging markets look strong or deeply sold-off, it often buys EDC. If they look overheated or risky, it may buy EDZ. In cautious moments, it splits money with one defensive holding such as bonds, consumer staples, or utilities.
