About

Aggressive, rules‑based swing strategy that flips between 3x tech/semis, volatility (UVXY/SVXY), bonds/cash, and defensives. It uses “hot/cold” (RSI), VIX trend, and bond signals to sell rips, buy dips, or stand aside when risk spikes.
NutHow it works
It watches three dials: 1) a “hot/cold” gauge (RSI) for stocks, 2) fear (the VIX via ETFs like UVXY/VIXY/SVXY), and 3) the bond trend. If stocks look overheated (RSI high), it buys UVXY (a bet on fear rising). If stocks look washed out and fear is easing, it buys 3x tech/semis (TECL=tech, SOXL=semis, SPXL/TQQQ=broad tech). If fear rises or bonds flash danger, it shifts to cash‑like T‑bills (BIL), bonds (TMF/TMV), gold/commodities, or dividend funds.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~76% vs SPX ~22%; Sharpe ~1.67 vs ~1.41; Calmar ~2.76. A dynamic regime-rotating strategy that targets tech/semis, volatility hedges, and bonds to ride trends while managing downside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
