About

A fast, high-octane switcher: if markets look short‑term overheated, it flips into long‑volatility funds; otherwise it rides leveraged mega‑cap tech (2x MSFT/AAPL/GOOGL) or 3x Nasdaq. Concentrated, timing‑heavy, and very risky.
NutHow it works
It runs a daily “heat check.” RSI (a 0–100 short‑term heat meter over ~2 weeks) above ~80 on major market/sector funds means “too hot,” so it moves 100% into a 50/50 mix of VIX-linked funds (UVXY, UVIX) that jump when stocks fall. If not hot, it buys one aggressive tech bet: 2x Microsoft, Apple, or Google—whichever lagged the Nasdaq that day. If none lagged, it buys 3x Nasdaq (TQQQ).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets ~40% annualized return vs SPX ~17%, via a heat-check that flips to long volatility and levered tech bets. The trade-off: higher drawdowns (~64% vs ~19%), so best for risk-tolerant allocators.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
