A high-risk strategy that usually bets hard on big U.S. tech, but jumps into volatility funds when the market looks unusually overheated and vulnerable to a pullback.

This strategy is very aggressive. Most of the time it wants fast-growing U.S. tech stocks, usually through TQQQ or 2x bets on Microsoft, Apple, or Google. But first it checks whether parts of the market look too hot using RSI, a speedometer for how stretched a recent rally is. If several stock areas look overheated, it switches completely into UVXY and UVIX, which try to profit when market fear suddenly jumps.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
