About

Aggressive market-timing: always 50/50 in two 3× ETFs (Internet plus S&P 500 or Nasdaq). Uses SPY’s short-term averages and RSI (recent gains vs losses) to flip between bull and bear versions.
NutHow it works
Splits money 50/50 between two leveraged funds. Uses SPY (the S&P 500 fund) to pick direction. A moving average is a recent average price. RSI scores recent gains vs losses. If SPY ≥ its 2‑day avg: if 5‑day < 10‑day, go 3× short; else 3× long. If SPY < its 2‑day avg: if 3‑day RSI ≥ 21‑day RSI, go 3× short; else 3× long. Holds Internet (WEBL/WEBS) plus S&P 500 or Nasdaq (UPRO/SPXU or TQQQ/SQQQ).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: levered, high-beta Internet/tech tilt with timing signals. ~15.8% annualized vs SPY’s ~21%, but ~60% max drawdown and lower Sharpe (~0.54). Great for risk-tolerant, diversified portfolios seeking non-SPY exposure.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
