About

Daily switches between QQQY (income-focused Nasdaq-100) and PSQ (inverse Nasdaq-100) using signals for momentum, overbought/oversold (RSI), volatility, bonds, dollar, and commodities. Goal: own QQQY in calm/uptrends, PSQ in stress/overheat.
NutHow it works
It switches daily between: - QQQY: Nasdaq‑100 options‑income fund (tech‑heavy: chips, software, internet, big consumer brands). - PSQ: moves opposite the Nasdaq‑100 (1x inverse). It reads market “thermometers”: speed of recent moves (RSI, a 0–100 heat meter), trends (moving averages), and stress from volatility, bonds, the dollar, and commodities (SPY, TQQQ, SOXL, UVXY, TLT, BIL/IEF, UPP, DBC). If overheated/fearful → PSQ; if healthy or washed‑out with bond support → QQQY.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~20.8% annual return, Sharpe ~1.30, Calmar ~1.81, max drawdown ~11.5% vs SPY ~18.8%. Low beta (~0.33) and regime-driven QQQY/PSQ switching aim for stronger risk-adjusted growth with better downside protection than the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
