About

Daily, it rotates among Nasdaq‑100 (long or short, sometimes 3×), Treasuries, and gold. It uses an inflation trend filter, a short‑term “heat” gauge, and a 200‑day trend line to press when conditions are favorable and defend when not.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks if inflation expectations (RINF) are trending up (price above its 200‑day line). Then it looks at the Nasdaq‑100 (QQQ) using a short‑term “heat” score of recent ups vs downs (RSI) and a 200‑day trend line. Very cold QQQ → TQQQ (3× long). Very hot → SQQQ (3× short). If uptrend but not extreme → QQQ. If downtrend → split PSQ (1× short QQQ) and GLD (gold). If bonds (BND) look stronger, it may use TMF (3× long Treasuries).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets Nasdaq-100 trends with inflation regime filters and hedges (GLD/TMF) to beat the S&P 500. Expected ~37% annualized return vs ~17.6% for SPY, but with higher volatility and larger drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
