About

A simple 50/50 mix of QQQ and SPY, rebalanced daily. Always fully invested in U.S. large-cap stocks with a strong tilt toward big tech. No market timing or indicators.
NutHow it works
It holds two funds and splits your money 50/50 between them: QQQ (tracks large Nasdaq companies, heavy in tech) and SPY (tracks the S&P 500, the broad U.S. market). Each trading day it resets back to 50/50—selling some of the recent winner and buying the laggard. No timing or signals.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, the 50/50 QQQ/SPY strategy beats the S&P 500 on return and risk: 26.9% vs 22.9% annualized, Sharpe ~1.22 vs ~1.14, Calmar ~1.70. Slightly bigger drawdowns, but positive alpha and beta ~1.08.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
