About

Rules-based QQQ strategy that dials risk up or down by trend and drawdowns, rotating among QQQ/semiconductors, Treasuries, gold, cash-like T‑bills, and inverse or 2× ETFs when short‑term signals say markets are too hot or too weak.
NutHow it works
It’s a QQQ (big‑tech) rulebook. First, it checks market health (S&P 500 vs its 200‑day average) and whether QQQ is in a deep slump (down >20% over a year). In uptrends it mostly owns QQQ, taking profits into Treasuries or gold when moves look “too hot.” In weak/crash markets it quickly switches among QQQ/semiconductors, Treasuries, T‑bills, or inverse/2× QQQ funds using short‑term “heat” (RSI) and recent 10–60 day moves.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: 33.8% annualized return vs 18.3% S&P, Sharpe ~1.18 vs ~1.09, and Calmar ~1.44. Dynamic hedges (treasuries, gold, cash, inverse/2x ETFs) aim for higher risk-adjusted returns across regimes.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
