About

A daily tactical QQQ plan that rides tech uptrends, steps into long Treasuries when prices look overheated, and shifts to bonds, cash‑like bills, or inverse/2x QQQ in weak markets and deep selloffs. Aims to grow while cutting drawdowns.
NutHow it works
1) Label backdrop by S&P 500 vs its 200‑day avg. 2) In uptrends, hold QQQ (big tech); if prices look overheated, park in TLT (long Treasuries). 3) In weak markets, use QQQ’s short‑term trend to choose QQQ, Treasuries/bills (IEF/SHV), or inverse QQQ (PSQ/QID). In deep drops, it may flip to 2x long/short QQQ (QLD/QID) or semis (SMH/USD). “Overheated/washed‑out” = RSI, a 0–100 gauge of recent buying vs selling.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy aims for higher upside than the S&P: 24.0% annualized return vs 20.4%, with a Calmar ~1.04. It blends tech exposure with adaptive hedging for growth and controlled risk—though bear markets may see larger drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
