About

Daily tactical tech strategy: ride uptrends via VGT, hedge overheated markets with VIXY/UVXY, and in downtrends either short the Nasdaq with PSQ or hide in gold (GLD).
NutHow it works
Each day it reads the market using TQQQ/UPRO (fast Nasdaq/S&P “thermometers”). • If price > its 200‑day average: risk‑on. If momentum is “too hot” (RSI = a 0–100 heat gauge; >~80), buy VIXY/UVXY (fear/volatility funds). Otherwise hold tech (VGT). • If price < 200‑day: buy tech on oversold (RSI<30), else either short Nasdaq (PSQ) if downside dominates, or sit in gold (GLD) when the short‑term trend is weak. Short‑term averages fine‑tune.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this daily tech strategy targets ~55% return with ~11% max drawdown and Sharpe ~1.89 (Calmar ~5.14), delivering superior risk-adjusted upside vs. the S&P via dynamic tech exposure and hedges (VIXY/PSQ/GLD).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
