About
Daily, it rides tech-led uptrends by owning the 2 strongest big‑tech/market funds (85%) plus a small SPY/gold mix (15). If the trend weakens, it shifts defensive to 50% gold and 50% inverse S&P 500 (SH).
Each day it checks whether QQQ (a tech‑heavy index fund) has its recent 8‑day average price above its 13‑day average. If yes: invest 85% in the 2 strongest names from a list of big tech stocks plus SPY/QQQ (based on ~60‑day gains), and 15% split between SPY and gold (GLD). If not: hold 50% gold and 50% SH, an ETF that goes up when the S&P 500 goes down.
Adaptive tech-momentum sleeve with a gold/SH hedge to diversify a core S&P 500 portfolio. Note: out-of-sample results currently lag the S&P and show higher drawdowns, so consider a small, tactical allocation for potential regime shifts.
