About

A daily, rules‑based QQQ booster: buy 2x QQQ after sharp dips, hedge with volatility and anti‑beta when QQQ is overheated, and otherwise own QQQ unless the S&P 500 trend is weak—then rotate into BTAL.
NutHow it works
Rebalanced daily. It reads a short‑term “heat” score (RSI: 0–100; high=hot, low=cold) on QQQ (big‑tech index fund). - If QQQ is very hot (>79), buy crash insurance: if volatility’s heat is low (<40) buy UVXY; else split VIXY and BTAL. - If QQQ is very cold (<30), buy 2x QQQ (QLD). - Otherwise, hold QQQ while SPY (S&P 500) is above its 200‑ or 30‑day average; if not, hold BTAL.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: higher upside with solid risk-adjusted metrics. Annualized return ~34.8% vs SPY ~25.6%; Calmar ~4.40; Sharpe ~2.12. A rules-based mix: QQQ leverage, volatility hedges, anti-beta to navigate spikes and dips.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
