About

A daily, rules-based switch between leveraged Nasdaq (TQQQ) and bond/cash defenses. It uses “hot/cold” RSI and trend lines to ride tech uptrends, step aside in sell-offs, and hedge spikes with T-bills, dollar strength, short bonds, or even short tech.
NutHow it works
Daily, it asks: 1) Is fear spiking? If the VIX proxy (UVXY) is “hot” (high RSI), hide in T‑bills (BIL). 2) Is tech (TQQQ) too hot? If so, cool off in short‑term Treasuries (SHY). 3) Else pick a side: Bullish = mostly TQQQ plus some long Treasuries (TMF); Bearish = U.S. dollar (UUP) and short long‑bonds (TMV). Trend filters (SPY/QQQ/TLT) and extra RSI checks tighten risk in sell‑offs; in rough patches it can short tech (SQQQ) or take brief UVXY trades. RSI = recent up‑vs‑down score.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return 23.17% vs SPY 21.68%, with Calmar ~0.81. A daily risk-on/risk-off system that rides tech rallies and hedges spikes with cash, Treasuries, and dollar strength—providing higher upside with disciplined risk controls.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
