About
A two-part market-timing strategy: one half aggressively trades tech stocks using leveraged bullish/bearish funds, while the other half sits in either the U.S. dollar or utilities for defense.
This strategy splits money into 2 halves.
Half 1 actively trades the U.S. stock market, mainly big tech, using leveraged funds: it prefers QLD when trends look healthy, switches to QID when tech looks overheated or weak, and sometimes hides in short-term bonds (BSV).
Half 2 is defensive: it holds UUP when the U.S. dollar is trending up; otherwise it holds utilities (XLU).
Adaptive two-sleeve strategy blends tech-trend with defensive ballast (dollar/utilities) for upside with lower beta. OOS return ~21.65% vs SPY 22.70%, Sharpe ~1.06, Calmar ~0.95, beta ~0.90, 1,467 days tested—diversified risk control.
