About

Tech‑tilted, rules‑based, daily rotation. Mostly rides a 2× Nasdaq fund in uptrends; in downtrends or extreme moves it flips to inverse QQQ or short‑term bonds. A small sleeve adds bond‑vs‑T‑bill and U.S. dollar switches.
NutHow it works
Daily, it splits 80/20 across two similar rule sets. First checks trend: is the S&P 500 above its 200‑day average? In uptrends it mainly holds a 2× Nasdaq fund (QLD), but if that gets “too hot” (very high short‑term RSI, a 0–100 hot/cold score) it briefly flips to its inverse (QID). In downtrends it rotates among inverse QQQ, short‑term bonds (BSV), or QLD using short‑term hot/cold readings, a 20‑day trend of QLD, and a quick 2‑ vs 5‑day return check. A smaller 20% sleeve adds a bond‑vs‑T‑bill check and can use QQQ/PSQ or the U.S. dollar (UUP).
CheckmarkValue prop
Tech-tilted, rules-based rotation targets larger Nasdaq upside with built-in hedges. Out-of-sample: ~33% annualized return vs ~24% S&P, plus solid risk control (Calmar ~0.92) despite higher drawdowns—seeking bigger growth with disciplined risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
