About
An aggressive daily market-timing strategy that usually bets on U.S. tech rising, but can quickly flip to bearish tech positions or short-term bonds when the market looks weak or overheated.
This strategy checks the market every day, mainly asking: Is the U.S. stock market healthy or weak, and is tech too hot or too beaten down?
Most of the time it makes a big bet on large U.S. tech stocks through QLD. If conditions look dangerous or overheated, it may switch to a fund that rises when tech falls, or move into short-term bonds for safety.
Out-of-sample, this strategy offers ~32.8% annualized return versus SPY's ~22.7%, powered by a dynamic Nasdaq tech tilt with hedges. It seeks strong rally upside and uses bonds/shorts to cushion losses, but carries higher drawdown (~36% vs ~19%).
