About
A rule-based strategy that mostly bets on big U.S. tech stocks, gets more aggressive after sharp drops, and turns defensive—or even bearish—when market trends weaken.
This strategy mainly tries to own big U.S. growth stocks through QQQ, and sometimes QLD, which is a much more aggressive version of QQQ.
First it checks whether the overall U.S. stock market is healthy by seeing if SPY is above its 200-day average. If yes, it usually holds QQQ, unless QQQ has risen too far too fast, in which case it switches to PSQ, which goes up when QQQ falls.
If the market looks weaker, it hunts for bounce opportunities: it buys QLD if QQQ looks deeply beaten down, or SPY if the broad market looks deeply beaten down. If neither is true, it either hides in SHY (short-term Treasury bonds), bets against QQQ with PSQ, or returns to QQQ if short-term strength improves.
High-upside, risk-managed tech tilt. Out-of-sample annualized return ~35.5% vs SPY ~22.5%, with competitive metrics (Sharpe ~1.38; Calmar ~1.50). Uses trend/mean-reversion signals to ride tech leadership and seek downside resilience.
