This strategy splits money into 3 mini-strategies. 1) A “panic catcher” mostly parks in short-term bonds, but may buy UVXY when stock excitement or fear looks extreme. 2) If the market is calm, it buys the most beaten-down choice from leveraged tech funds or Treasury bonds; if not, it hides in short-term Treasuries. 3) A similar sleeve does the same with a slightly looser risk filter.
