About

Aggressive, short‑term, risk‑on/risk‑off ETF switcher. Uses a simple “strength” gauge, momentum and volatility checks to flip among 3× bull/bear themes (tech, high‑beta, small‑caps, bonds, some international). Very volatile; not buy‑and‑hold.
NutHow it works
1) Regime check: Is the stock market (SPY) stronger than cash‑like T‑bills (TFLO) over ~20 days using RSI—a 0–100 heat gauge of recent up vs down days? • If yes: split 40/30/30 across 3 quick‑switch modules that compare bonds vs stocks over 4–6 days to pick 3× bull or 3× bear funds (e.g., big‑tech, high‑beta). • If no: a contrarian picker buys the most beaten‑down fund (last ~4 days) from lists of leveraged tech/growth, small‑caps, bonds, China/EM, or inverse funds. Trades only when signals flip (~5% drift).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: annualized return 37.66% vs SPY 20.69%, with positive alpha ~0.29% and Calmar ~0.74. A regime-tuned 3x ETF rotation aims bigger upside in favorable markets while actively managing risk, unlike buy-and-hold SPY.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
