About

A daily tactical plan that uses a bond trend to flip Risk ON/OFF. Risk ON: rotate into 3x stock funds that look “cold.” Risk OFF: hold the U.S. dollar, bonds (long or short, based on rates), commodities, and hedges. Aims for high upside with protection.
NutHow it works
1) Check a broad bond fund (BND) over ~11 weeks. If it’s up ⇒ Risk ON; if down ⇒ Risk OFF. Risk ON: “Surf” a basket, buying 2–4 with the lowest RSI (a 0–100 hot/cold score). Basket = 3x stock funds (Nasdaq, S&P, tech, semis, small caps, financials) plus diversifiers (long bonds, commodities, anti‑beta). A fear gauge (UVXY) can switch to long/short 20‑yr Treasuries. Risk OFF: If rates rise, favor the USD and inverse funds (short Nasdaq, short long‑bonds). If rates fall, hold USD, long‑bonds, anti‑beta, staples. Daily rebalance; K‑1‑free.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~27.38% annualized return vs SPY’s ~21.44%, from a dynamic bond-trend risk-on/off framework with 3x equity exposure, hedges and diversifiers. Higher upside; larger drawdowns; risk controls baked in.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
