About

Daily, rules‑based risk‑on/risk‑off. Uses bond trend to set regime. In calm periods, buys recently beaten‑down leveraged stock ETFs to catch rebounds; in stress or rising‑rate periods, shifts to Treasuries, US dollar, commodities, and bearish hedges (incl. short Treasuries).
NutHow it works
Each day it sets Risk ON if US bonds (BND) have risen over ~11 weeks; otherwise Risk OFF. Risk ON: rotate into 3x stock funds (Nasdaq, S&P, tech, semis, small‑caps, financials) by buying 4 that fell most recently, plus some diversifiers. If fear jumps, temporarily favor Treasuries. Risk OFF: if rates rise, own USD and bearish/short‑Treasury hedges; if rates fall, hold long Treasuries and defensives. Rebalance daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~29.3% vs SPY ~21.1%; higher upside via regime-switching, leveraged equity exposure, and hedges. Diversified risk controls aim for stronger long-term alpha than the S&P 500, with managed drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
