About
Rules aim to ride 3× S&P/Nasdaq in calm uptrends and quickly switch to Treasuries, dollar, commodities, or bearish ETFs when bonds weaken—seeking strong gains with smaller slumps. Daily rebalanced. K‑1‑free holdings.
Goal: ride big stock rallies with 3x funds, but cut risk fast.
Switch: If the US bond market (BND) was up over ~11 weeks ⇒ Risk ON; if down ⇒ Risk OFF.
Risk ON: buy whichever of 3× S&P or 3× Nasdaq fell more lately (a simple “recent weakness” score). If volatility is high, sit in short‑term Treasuries.
Risk OFF: If long Treasuries are falling (rates rising) favor the dollar, commodities, and bearish/defensive ETFs; if rising, hold 3× long Treasuries plus other defensive funds. Rebalanced daily.
High upside with disciplined risk controls: OOS annualized return ~39.9% vs SPY ~21%, via bond-led risk switch and hedges. Note higher drawdowns (~44% vs ~19%), but potential for stronger long-run compounding and diversification.
