A daily market-timing strategy that swings between aggressive 3x U.S. stock funds and defensive assets like T-bills, bonds, the dollar, and hedges based on market trend, turbulence, and recent selloffs.

This strategy checks the market every day. If conditions look healthy, it mainly uses 3x S&P 500 and 3x Nasdaq funds, sometimes mixing in a 3x long-bond fund for balance. If markets look stressed, it can move to T-bills, the U.S. dollar, defensive stocks, or even bearish funds. It uses recent market trend, volatility, and drawdown checks to decide when to be aggressive and when to hide.

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
