About

A daily, tactical plan that flips between 3x growth funds (with a cash buffer) and defensive hedges based on bond and interest‑rate trends. Seeks big upside but is extremely risky and can suffer very deep losses.
NutHow it works
Set risk: if core bonds beat cash over 60 days, Risk ON; else Risk OFF. Risk ON: put ~68% in the two 3x funds (semis/Nasdaq/S&P/tech) that have pulled back the most over 10 days; keep ~32% in cash. Risk OFF: if long Treasuries lag cash over 20 days (rates rising), put ~88% in either -2x Nasdaq or short long‑Treasuries and ~12% in long U.S. dollar; if rates are falling, split across 2x gold, 3x long Treasuries, defensive stocks, and a low‑beta/market‑neutral fund. Daily rebalance.
CheckmarkValue prop
Higher upside than the S&P 500: about 49% annualized out-of-sample vs ~23% for the S&P 500. Yet it can suffer deep drawdowns (~66%) and has a more volatile risk-adjusted profile—suited for aggressive investors seeking outsized opportunities and risk tolerance.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
