A symphony is an automated trading strategy — Learn more about symphonies here

About

A daily, rules-based swing strategy that sells strength by hedging with volatility, buys sharp tech/semis dips, and flips to inverse or bond/defense when bond and commodity signals warn. Uses 3x ETFs; very aggressive.
NutHow it works
Daily, rules-based. It watches simple heat gauges (RSI = 0–100 overbought/oversold score) on stocks (SPY; Nasdaq via 3x TQQQ). When markets are hot it hedges with volatility (UVXY/VIXY). When they’re washed out it buys fast movers (3x tech/semis: TECL, TQQQ, SOXL) unless bonds flash risk-off. Bond trend (TLT, BIL vs IEF) and commodity risk (DBC) decide bull baskets vs inverse hedges (SQQQ, SOXS, SPXS) or cash-like T‑bills. Multiple lookbacks are blended.
CheckmarkValue prop
Adaptive, rules-based strategy targets higher upside vs. the S&P by riding tech/semis rallies with volatility/cross-asset hedges. OOS: annualized return ~46%; Sharpe ~0.86; Calmar ~0.95; max drawdown ~49%. Higher risk, but bigger potential gains.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
