A very aggressive daily trading strategy that jumps between leveraged tech stock funds, bearish funds, volatility, bonds, and commodities based on whether markets look overheated, oversold, or in a risky macro regime.

This strategy is an aggressive market-timer. It checks each day whether stocks look overheated, washed out, or in a good/bad trend. If markets look too hot, it often buys volatility or bearish funds. If markets look very beaten down, it may buy a rebound. In calmer periods, it usually picks whichever high-octane fund tied to tech, semiconductors, or the S&P 500 looks strongest. It also uses bonds, commodities, and the dollar as warning signals.

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
