About
A fast-moving market-timing strategy that leans hard into tech when conditions look good, but quickly hides in cash, bonds, gold, or hedges when markets look overheated or weak.
This strategy checks the market every day and asks three simple questions: Is the market trending up, is it overheating, or is it weakening?
If conditions look healthy, it often buys growth-heavy funds tied to the Nasdaq and sometimes uses extra-aggressive leveraged versions. If the market looks too hot or risky, it shifts toward cash-like T-bills, Treasury bonds, gold, defensive sectors, or funds that rise when stocks fall.
Out-of-sample: ~23.4% annualized return, Calmar 2.63, ~8.9% max drawdown—close to SPY in upside but with built-in hedges that protect on downturn, boosting risk-adjusted growth vs the S&P 500.
