A simple trend check on the S&P 500 decides between ultrashort bond funds (GSY, PULS) in healthy markets and very safe T‑bills (BIL) in weak markets. Seeks a modest yield boost when conditions are good and prioritizes safety when they aren’t.

It watches the S&P 500 using SPY. If SPY’s price is above its average over the last ~200 trading days, it holds 50% GSY and 50% PULS (cash‑like ultrashort bond funds). If not, it moves 100% to BIL (Treasury bills). A ~5% band helps avoid small, frequent trades.
