About

A daily, rules‑based “gas/brake” system: ride big tech uptrends with leveraged ETFs, get defensive or short when signals worsen, hedge at extremes with VIX products, and sometimes switch to managed futures (KMLM) or cash/bonds for diversification.
NutHow it works
- First, it asks: is the market trending up or down (using moving averages like the 200‑day)? - If up: it prefers fast tech funds (TQQQ, SOXL, TECL). If prices look “too hot” (RSI very high), it trims risk or briefly buys “fear” (UVXY). - If down or choppy: it parks in cash/T‑bills or Treasuries, or flips short (PSQ/SQQQ). - A second check compares bond and credit trends (BND/BIL, BIL/IEF/LQD) to confirm risk‑on/off. - A simple switch sometimes chooses KMLM (managed‑futures trend follower) instead of tech when tech momentum is weak. - It rechecks these rules daily and adjusts positions.
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic, regime-driven strategy: leverages tech uptrends with hedges (bonds, volatility, managed futures). Out-of-sample: ~11.1% annualized, Calmar ~0.89, max drawdown ~12.4%. Diversified exposure complements SPY with regime-aware risk management.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
