About

Aggressive, rules‑based switcher: rides tech with 3x ETFs in uptrends, but flips to cash/Treasuries/defensive sectors, shorts, or volatility hedges when markets overheat or drop. Rebalanced daily; very high risk and trading‑intensive.
NutHow it works
Each day it: 1) checks the market trend (S&P 500 vs its 200‑day average), 2) gauges heat with a hot/cold meter (RSI: >~80 = too hot, <~30 = washed out), and 3) looks at recent drops. In uptrends it rides tech using 3x funds (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL). If things overheat or roll over, it shifts to defense (BIL T‑Bills, TLT Treasuries, defensive sectors) or hedges/shorts (PSQ/SQQQ, SPXU) and may use volatility (UVXY). It sometimes compares tech to KMLM (a trend ETF) to pick offense vs defense.
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic, rules-based strategy rides tech in uptrends and hedges for defense in shocks. Out-of-sample it shows positive risk-adjusted returns and diversification, potentially reducing correlation with SPY and offering capital protection.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
