About

A daily, rules‑based switch that rides big tech uptrends (mainly TQQQ) but quickly hedges or shorts using volatility, inverse ETFs, bonds, cash, gold, and defensive sectors when markets get overheated or weaken. Includes a small metals contrarian and a KMLM trend sleeve.
NutHow it works
Daily, it checks if stocks are trending up, stretched, or breaking down using simple signals (RSI, 20‑ and 200‑day averages). In uptrends it rides growth/tech (mostly TQQQ). When markets look overheated or weak, it flips to protection: inverse Nasdaq (PSQ/SQQQ), volatility (UVXY/VIXY), Treasuries (TLT/TMF), cash (BIL), staples/healthcare (XLP/XLV), gold (GLD), or the dollar (UUP). A small sleeve buys the most beaten‑down metal, and another uses KMLM (managed‑futures) vs Tech to choose TQQQ or a defensive mix. It rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: about 56% annualized return vs ~12.6% for the S&P; Sharpe 1.83 vs 1.01; Calmar 6.34. A dynamic, tech-led strategy with rapid hedges, aiming for bigger risk-adjusted gains even with higher drawdowns (~8.8%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
