About

Very active, rules-driven portfolio that rides tech booms (via 3x ETFs) but quickly shifts to hedges (inverse Nasdaq, volatility, dollar, staples, bonds) or metals/managed-futures when stress rises. Daily rebalanced. High risk and rapid swings.
NutHow it works
A rules-based, daily mix with four sleeves: ride big-tech (TQQQ) while the uptrend holds; flip to hedges (inverse Nasdaq, VIX, cash, dollar, staples, bonds) when markets look overheated or below trend. A contrarian sleeve buys the worst-hit metal/commodity. A tech-vs-KMLM switch owns TQQQ when tech beats KMLM (a managed-futures ETF), else short-Nasdaq + gold. A risk sleeve toggles using a 'hot/cold' gauge (RSI: recent buying vs selling) and 20/200-day trend checks.
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic, rules-based strategy delivering outsized out-of-sample tech upside (~55.8% annualized) with superior risk-adjusted metrics (Sharpe ~1.83, Calmar ~6.34) vs S&P. Hedge-driven; note drawdowns can be larger in stress.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
