About

A daily, rules‑based, high‑octane strategy. It rides tech booms with 3x ETFs, flips to inverse/defensive positions in selloffs, buys volatility when markets look overheated, and keeps a small buy‑and‑hold sleeve (dividends + managed futures DBMF/KMLM). Extremely high risk.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks whether stocks and bonds are trending up or down and how “stretched” recent moves are (RSI = too hot/too cold; moving averages = trend). In uptrends it rides 3x tech/semis; if momentum breaks it flips to inverse funds or Treasuries. When markets look overheated, it buys VIX ETFs. A small sleeve holds SCHD/SCHG and managed futures (DBMF, KMLM) for diversification.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: 44% annualized return vs SPY 28%, Calmar ~2.74. Regime-switching, volatility hedges, and diversified sleeves capture tech-bull upside while aiming to limit drawdowns—higher upside with disciplined risk vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
